Rename an Open Document Without Closing It
1. Click Kutools > Rename.
2. A Rename dialog box will appear. Enter the new document name, then click OK.
📌 Result: Your document is now renamed instantly—without closing and reopening it!
Notes:
- This feature cannot rename an unsaved document.
- Special characters (*, /, etc.) are not allowed in file names.
- Documents stored on the internet or set as read-only cannot be renamed.
